Lawyer Bharada E Sends Resignation Letter via WA to Bareskrim

Legal Team Bharada E resigned from the shooting case of Brigadier J today, Saturday (6/8). Andreas Nahot Silitonga gave the resignation letter to Police Criminal Investigation.

“We, as former legal advisors team Richard Eliezer or known as Bharada E, today came to the Criminal Investigation Unit to submit our resignation as legal advisers to Bharada E,” Andreas told reporters at the National Police Criminal Investigation Department.

Andreas also revealed that his resignation letter had not been received directly by the Criminal Investigation Unit of the Police. He sent the letter via the Whatsapp application.

“Earlier, no one received it, maybe because it was a holiday too, so we decided to convey it via WA for a while,” he said.

He admitted that at this time he would not reveal the reason for his team’s resignation because the legal process was still ongoing.

However, he confirmed that the reason for his resignation was stated in the letter he submitted.

“We are also not going to open to the public at this time what the real reason for resigning is because we really respect the legal rights of every party involved in this case,” he explained.

Andrea explained that his team would return on Monday next week to deliver the letter in person.

Previously, the police had named Bharada E as a suspect in the shooting case of Brigadier J. The police imposed Article 338 of the Criminal Code Jo Article 55 Jo Article 56 of the Criminal Code against Bharada E.

Brigadier J is said to have died in a shooting incident with Bharada E at Inspector General Ferdy Sambo’s house at the Duren Tiga Police Complex, South Jakarta, Friday (8/7). However, the incident was only revealed on Monday (11/7).
