After the Criminal Court in Port Said sentenced her mother’s killer to death by hanging in Egypt, the convict’s lawyer, Nourhan Khalil, submitted an appeal note to the Court of Cassation to challenge the death sentence against her mother’s killer with the help of her child lover inside her home in Turquoise Residences in Port Fouad, Port Said Governorate.
The appeal memorandum submitted to the Court of Cassation included 6 main reasons, namely: the absence of the appealed judgment due to the lack of communication of the court that issued it with the case, invalidity due to failure to recall the circumstance of insistence, invalidity due to failure to cause and breaching the right of defense, failure to cause, corruption of the ruling in reasoning, violation of the established papers, and failure In causing inference and violating what is established by papers, shortcomings, violating the law, and negligence.
The memorandum also included a demand that the appeal be accepted in form and an order to temporarily suspend the execution of the contested judgment until the issue of this appeal is decided.
On February 18, the Port Said Criminal Court had sentenced Nourhan Khalil, who was convicted of killing her mother, Dalia Al-Hoshi, inside her home in the Al-Fayrouz neighborhood of Port Fouad, Port Said Governorate, with the help of her neighbor, the “lover child,” to death by hanging.
Before the verdict, the Public Prosecution described the girl as a living, ungrateful, traitor to her family, and that the tragedy is a mother’s humiliation of her daughter, so she killed her in order to remain in a perverted relationship with a child four years younger than her,” asking, “How can a girl whose mother insulted her brutally kill her for the sake of sex?”
The prosecution added that the accused was “deceived by lusts” and agreed to kill her mother with her lover, so they killed her “with debauchery and brutality.”
