Feyenoord trainer Dick Advocaat does not seriously consider recruiting Jeremain Lens. The coach admits that the Rotterdammers scout for a potential successor to Steven Berghuis.
“We have a number of scouts who have made all kinds of lists with names for positions, we have players in the picture and we know what we want. We are looking at whether we can attract players in one or two positions anyway,” De Telegraaf Advocaat quotes on the Feyenoord press conference.
Lens has been associated with Feyenoord for a long time, but according to the coach that is not the case now. “I have seen that name pass by. Do you know that I have not spoken to Lens for almost half a year? I do not specifically mention the positions for which we are looking for players here.
