“Laws must be changed”: New York holds vigils to commemorate victims of gun violence | Videos | Univision 41 New York WXTV

This Thursday several vigils were held in the city, in order to commemorate the victims and demand stronger laws against crime. Activists affirm that many of these acts stem from the ease of acquiring firearms, which is why they ask that regulations be approved as soon as possible. According to Mayor Eric Adams, each year 18,000 children are victims of bullets in New York.
