Benson and Amaro are tasked with investigating the assault on a young woman found unconscious in a boat, just behind the mayor’s residence of New York. The victim being in a coma, they will have to go back to the thread of the last hours by finding the people she met during a world music festival. But as the investigation progresses, the two investigators realize that this mother-of-two seemed to be leading another life.
