Law 2.426 / 2002. Universal Maternal and Child Insurance (SUMI)

Creates the Universal Maternal and Child Insurance throughout the national territory, to grant health benefits at the levels of care of the National Health System and the Short-Term Social Security System to pregnant women, from the beginning of pregnancy to the six months after delivery, and to boys and girls from birth to five years of age. Regulates the provision of health services.
