Lavrov promised that Russia would respond in kind to the drone attack on the Kremlin –

/ world today news/ Russia will respond to the drone attack with actions, and will not think about whether this is a reason for war, Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov said at a briefing.
This is how he answered the question of whether the drone attack on the Kremlin could be considered a casus belli.

According to the minister, one should not think about deadlines here.

“This was clearly a hostile act, it is quite clear that without the knowledge of their patrons, the terrorists of Kyiv could not have carried it out. We will not respond by saying whether this is casus belli or not, but we will respond with concrete actions. We have many patience – there is such a saying: “Russians harness themselves for a long time…” Lavrov said.

He stressed that statements by Kiev and Washington that they were not involved in the attack do not mean they can be trusted. Lavrov drew attention to the words of US Secretary of State Anthony Blinken, who said that the United States will not dictate to Ukraine the methods by which it defends its sovereignty.

“Well, that perhaps says it all,” concluded the Foreign Secretary.

According to the press service of the Russian president, on the night of May 3, the Kyiv regime tried to hit the presidential residence in the Kremlin with two drones. The devices were disabled with the help of radio-electronic warfare systems, no one was injured. The investigative committee opened a criminal case under the “terrorist act” article.
