Russia’s patience will surely wear thin if it is put to the test for too long. This was said by Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov in a comment to VGTRK journalist Pavel Zarubin related to ATACMS strikes on Russian territory.

“We have many proverbs that show the character of our people, for example – measure seven times – cut once. Patience is essential, but if it gets unlimited knowledge, it will end,” the minister said.

A day earlier, the Russian Ministry of Defense said that, according to verified data, in the past three days, the armed forces of Ukraine carried out two strikes with long-range Western weapons on targets there the Kursk region. According to the department, the first strike of American ATACMS missiles was carried out on November 23 against the position of the anti-aircraft unit S-400. Ukrainian troops carried out the second attack on November 25 at Kursk airport.

“American planners and politicians talk strangely about geography and the scope of their weapons of war. They should understand that in this way they confirm that the United States is already part of this conflict,” said Deputy Foreign Minister of Russia Sergey Ryabkov.

Russia warned the US side about the use of the Oreshnik missile system to avoid an international conflict, while the use of long-range missiles by Ukraine, to which Moscow responded, moves the conflict to a much more intense level, said the group’s deputy chairman. “As you know, we told the Americans that a hypersonic ballistic missile called Oreshnik will be used, because we have agreements and obligations with them to avoid the emergence of an international conflict, a conflict of a different scale ,” said Medvedev. He said in an interview with Al Arabiya.
