The winter blood drive is held in Lavaur from Monday 4 until Thursday 7 January. Once again, we will stay in the Halle d’Occitanie because of the space it offers and which allows the essential distance in this period of health crisis. The Lavaur Blood Donor Association points out that new schedules are being put in place this time. From Tuesday 5 to Thursday 7, it will be in the afternoon, from 2 p.m. to 7 p.m.
With his team of volunteers, Gaspard Stallivière warmly thanks the 412 loyal donors who took action during the October fundraising campaign. “And we still count on them. We know that they will still answer the call of the EFS so that the reserves of blood products are sufficient. It is important and necessary that new donors take over from the oldest, who have sometimes retired with regret ”.
And to remember that the Occitania region needs 1000 bags of blood per day and the contribution of the Lavaur collection must be 100 bags / day. “You will be there, we are waiting for you. To save lives by donating some of this precious liquid.”
