Coach Porto Sergio Conceico received a narrow 0-1 defeat to Inter Milan. However, conception sued the referee’s decision for not punishing lautaro martinez.

Porto challenged Inter in the first leg of the round of 16 Liga Champions which took place at the Stadio Giuseppe Meazza. The match was held on Thursday (23/2/2023) in the morning WIB.

“I think the result was fair because the last 10 minutes were very difficult for us,” said Conceicao, who played for Lazio and Inter Milan during his playing days.

“Otavio was sent off, the red card is understandable. However, there are Inter players who should have been booked too,” he continued. Football-Italia.

“I believe Lautaro Martinez should have been booked for tackling Pepe and if that had happened he would have been suspended for the second leg. However, the referee has already decided, I’m not going to say whether it’s right or not. I leave it to you [media] to judge it,” Conceicao added.

Porto will take turns hosting Inter Milan at Do Dragao in the second leg match, next March. The Portuguese giants need to win by a two-goal difference to qualify for the quarter-finals while Inter only need a draw at a minimum.
