Lautaro Martinez Sentil Mbappe About Claims European Football Is Greater

Buenos Aires

Kylian Mbappe said that European football was so much better that he could win the World Cup. Lautaro Martinez responded scathingly.

Mbappe, Paris Saint-Germain striker, will lead his country to defend the World Cup title this year. After winning in 2018, France will bet it again in Qatar later this year.

Mbappe, who helped France win the 2018 World Cup in Russia, had time to comment on the strong countries that will compete in Qatar. Among them, the 23-year-old player commented on the map of strength from Latin America.

From the Americas, strong teams like Argentina and Brazil can confidently qualify for Qatar. There was a slick appearance in the qualification, which Mbappe then commented on in an arrogant tone.

“Argentina have not played a high-quality game to reach the World Cup. In South America, football is not as sophisticated as Europe. That’s why if you look at the last World Cup, it was always the Europeans who won,” Mbappe recently told Brazil’s TNT Sports.

Lautaro Martinez, the Argentine striker responded to the comments. The player who defended Inter Milan called Mbappe’s words unfair.

“Most of us who were called up were in Europe, and every day, even every training, you have to face them,” Lautaro told TyC Sports.

“That’s why I say that we feel good and work on the ideas the coach asks of us.”

“We are happy with the way we work and what we do on the pitch. I see what [Mbappe] say, but Argentina and Brazil have players with great quality and talent. Brazil, like us, has most of its players in Europe. I think the comments are inappropriate,” he said.
