The author of the music and lyrics of the composition, Lauris Valters, reflecting philosophically on this performance, says: “Our life is a truly interesting and exciting adventure, which has both ups and downs. During life, we encounter various challenges that strengthen and enrich our experience. It is important to take the best lessons and nice memories from the past, to live from the heart in the moment we are in now and to look to the future with a bright, positive outlook.”
Participants in the recording of the song: studio producer and sound director Reinis Briģis, bass guitarist Jānis Olekšs, Andris Buiķis on percussion, and Lauris Amantovs played the trombone.
The new album will include 13 compositions, several of which have been released in the last two and a half years and have won the love of listeners – “Saule zenītā”, “Būt pa prīstā”, “Gaismā rotatis”, “Here and now” and others.
Lauris Walters will be 40 years old in March of this year, and several anniversary concerts are expected in April, in which songs from the new album will be performed, as well as “Tad sämääs laiks”, “Mirklī eklausies”, “1836” and other compositions. Also, of course, several songs from the “shadow” days of Laura Walter’s band, when all pop music lovers enthusiastically sang along to the songs “Neprātīgiis” and “Ar prādsīm fražēm”.
Anniversary concerts will be held:
- On April 6 at 19.00 at the Brocēni Cultural Center.
- April 12 at 19.00 in Riga VEF Palace of Culture;
- On April 13 at 19.00 in the Aizkraukle cultural center.
