Lauris Reinik Opens Up About Emotional Exhaustion and Health Problems Resulting From Overwork in The Filming of “Say it out loud”

Reinik reveals in a conversation with “Private Life” that after the pandemic he had “an insane amount of work”, including the filming of the program “Say it out loud”. “The filming of each program lasts more than three hours, and you sit and listen carefully like a psychotherapist. I can’t talk to a person for more than an hour everyday, looking them in the eye, but I had to do it there. Besides, we usually filmed two programs a day.

At the end of the day, I was emotionally exhausted, I just wanted to get drunk to get rid of all this information,” admits Lauris.

Reinick says he couldn’t afford it because there were, for example, Richie Roe’s concerts the next day.

The musician remembers that due to overwork he started having unprecedented health problems – an allergy appeared on his face, his skin began to itch, his back hurt, etc. “I think it’s time to order a tombstone,” Reinik admits.

The analyzes were good, but the feeling did not improve. During the trip to Peru, the musician realized that health problems are related to overload and stress. “It was clear – I have to leave. That’s why I gave up all the projects in one moment. (..) I listened to my body, which told me in front of me – it’s time to stop,” Reinik explains the decision to go to Colombia.

Reinik recently released a new song called “Gallery”. The song, composed in the rhythms of reggaeton, and the video, created in Latin American feelings, are a reference to the time Reinik spent in Colombia at the end of last year.
