It’s a long fight in which Laurie Delhostal has engaged since she publicly announced on social networks that she had cancer. “Just a month ago I was told: ‘you have cancer’ (…) I discovered MRIs, Pet Scan, the Pac. Lots of drugs to prevent vomiting. The water cap -ice polo during chemo”, she had written to announce the news. A battle that she fights with her companion, Pierre Rabadan, as well as her daughter, Anne-Rose, with whom she spends a lot of time.
If she shows a foolproof mind, Laurie Delhostal also faces moments of weariness, especially in the face of the heavy treatments she has to undergo each week. On February 21, she also gave some tips for passing the time during the endless sessions that she must undergo daily. “I have a method now to manage to fit in the machine: I force myself to repeat lists to occupy my mind.
