Al-Ittihad is taking advantage of the hiatus as the Saudi national team play matches in the qualifiers for the 2026 World Cup, to prepare their squad for the rest of this season.
The newspaper Al-Sharq Al-Awsat published that Laurent Blanc decided that the friendly match Jeddah will be closed to the fans and the media, with the aim of quietly preparing and implementing ideas special before hosting Al-Qadisiyah next Saturday, in the seventh round of the Saudi Roshen League competitions.
The newspaper said that the French N’Golo Kante and the Portuguese Danilo Pereira will be away from the friendly match in Jeddah, to prepare them for the next Al-Qadisiyah match.
The newspaper confirmed that Kante will be ready to take part in Al-Ittihad’s match against Al-Qadisiyah, while Pereira continues his recovery from the injury he suffered in the -face Al-Hilal in the last El Clásico.
