The actress, Laura, the ex-wife of the artist, Sherif Mounir, was a guest on the “Cairo Today” program, presented by the journalist Nancy Magdy, and broadcast on the “Al-Youm” channel.
During the meeting, “Laura” discussed her sudden divorce from the artist Sherif Mounir, the dispute between her and her daughters, and her forcing them to attack her on social media.
“Laura” said: “I did not like topics to remain like this, nor social media, nor such talk. My daughters hate the topic of social media and for their names or pictures to remain present. I have a young daughter who does not like to imagine.”
She continued: “If the cat comes to her family, she will eat you, and whoever comes to my family will eat it, and at that time no one can come near my family. Never blame the mother for her actions to protect her children.”
Regarding the post she published in which she blamed her daughters, she responded, saying: “My daughters were forced to attack me.”
The artist, Sherif Mounir, officially announced his divorce to his wife, Laura, via Instagram, saying: “The divorce has occurred between me and Mrs. Laura. Everything is divided and shared, and I wish her all the best.”
The disagreement between Laura and her daughters, Camelia and Farida, came back when she sent a letter of reproach to them after they decided to ignore her and leave her life, and she published a video clip in which she commented on her disagreement with them, saying: “A message to my daughters, Farida and Camelia, since you have decided to no longer be in my life after I gave you my life and my health.” And my love, my care, and my sacrifice for you a lot, and all your schools, your teachers, your doctors, your friends, and the mothers of your friends bear witness that I was a working mother.”
Then her daughter, Farida, responded to her mother through her official Instagram account, saying: “Why do you do that? Zen on the wudan is a matter of magic.”
Then her daughter, Camelia, broke her silence and responded to her mother, saying: “We have never been away from you, and other than that, I was still sitting with you yesterday and I didn’t know that you were thinking about that.”
The dispute between Laura and her two daughters witnessed a rapid development, and her daughter, Farida, unfollowed her mother on Instagram, and many reports circulated about strong disagreements that would lead to the end of her relationship with her husband, the artist Sherif Mounir.
