The singer Laura Diepstraten, promoted by the ONCE of Almería, participates in the 17 ONCE Music Biennial which, between June 2 and 5, will tour 7 cities and towns in Aragon.
Diepstraten will be one of the artists in charge of opening this musical event, with her participation in the concert ONCE sings to Teruel, which takes place today, Thursday, June 2, at the Marín Theater in the city. In it, she will be accompanied by Aminah and Xiara, who will present her new musical projects for the first time, and by the Allegro Choir of Valencia, which will make a trip through its new Latin American proposal. The young woman from Almería, only 15 years old, became famous by winning the first edition of the contest Euro Low Vision, the Eurovision song contest for artists with blindness or low vision, which was held a year ago. Laura Diepstraten participated with the theme composed by herself another vision, with which he managed to stay in first place by obtaining 27.55% of the 7,055 votes cast electronically with 1,944 scores, ahead of the second country, Turkey, which added 21% of the votes.
Laura was the youngest participant of the 17 countries and competed with singers and groups with a long musical career, all of them made up of people who are blind or have severe visual impairment.

Blind from birth, Diepstraten is currently pursuing a professional piano degree at the conservatory while finishing her secondary studies.
