One of the most famous cigar brands in the German premium segment is being revived by Willi Knopf, himself a passionate cigar smoker and expert in the industry. He has taken over all trademark rights and assets of the luxury brand, thereby securing the continued existence of the cigar legend.
Laura Chavin will soon make the hearts of passionados beat faster again. Since the insolvency of Laura Chavin GmbH in 2017, things have been very quiet around this German premium cigar brand. With the takeover of marketing expert Willi Knopf and the founding of his “Cigar Company” in January 2019, all the necessary conditions have been created to be able to continue the Laura Chavin brand. The new brand owner explains: “Now nothing stands in the way of a continuation of Laura Chavin, which is, as far as I know, the only German premium cigar brand.” At the same time, he underlines the emotionality that prompted him to take this entrepreneurial step: “For me as a cigar lover, it would be a real shame if these exceptional cigars were no longer available. We are happy to accept the challenge of restoring the Laura Chavin brand to the former glory it deserves.”
