Laur Fratostiteanu, dentist, well-known bassist, member of the band Titan from Iași, fell victim to the new coronavirus, Ziarul de Iași announces.

Laur Fratostiteanu, dentist and one of the greatest bassists in Romania, before ’89, even after, a great jazzman and one of the most beautiful people, both physically and in character, that I met in my whole existence. He was beautiful as an actor and he was good, as a direct relative of God. He had a light in his eyes and a warmth in his smile, very, very special. I think he was about 3-4 years older than me.
He was the bassist of the band Titan, from Iași, a band at that time, avant-garde, with very good instrumentalists and who had a real strong impact, for us, those who then loved rock music.
