Earlier this year, Kia launched the electric car EV6 in three versions with the largest battery of 77.5 kWh, and in July, the car manufacturer announced a longer range than first thought. With rear-wheel drive, the version with the 77.5 kWh battery had a range of up to 528 kilometers, from the previous 510, while the four-wheel-drive version had a range of up to 506 kilometers, up from 460.
The version with rear-wheel drive and the largest battery, called “Exclusive”, costs from 469,900 kroner, while the four-wheel drive GT-line and GT, with 325 and 585 horsepower respectively, cost from 529,900 and 599,900 kroner.
All editions will be in stores in the 4th quarter.
In addition to the three versions with a large battery, the Kia EV6 is now launched with several drivelines and in new equipment versions.
– We are opening up for orders with the smallest battery of 58 kWh, and are also introducing a new equipment level on the EV6 with the large battery, says Irene Solstad, Executive Vice President for Kia in Bertel O. Steen, in a press release.
– EV6 was launched earlier this year in three versions, all with the large battery of 77.4 kWh. The response has been very good, and the first cars will arrive in Norway during October, Solstad adds.
