Dr. Hisham Masoud, Undersecretary of the Ministry of Health in Sharkia, launched the banner of activation campaign activities, to provide family planning and reproductive health services, “Your Right to Organize” in the governorate, from within the health unit by Bani Shebl of the Qanayat Department of Health.
The campaign has a duration of 10 days, to be implemented in two phases, the first phase from 4 to 8 December, and involves 10 health departments of the governorate, namely “Al-Qanayat, Awlad Saqr, Kafr Saqr, Belbeis, Abu Hammad, 10th of Ramadan, Deyerb Najm, Mashtoul.” The market, the Abu Omar facility, the new Salhia, and the second phase in the period from December 18 to 22, and includes 9 health departments: Zagazig, Minya al-Qamh, Faqous, al-Husayniyya, Abu Kabir, Hehya, al -Qurain, al-Ibrahimiya and San al-Hajar.

In the village of Tal Hawin, she praised the turnout of women and the good organization of the convoy.
“Masoud” explained that the campaign includes family planning services, reproductive health services such as pregnancy follow-up, sonar examination and examination of women, as well as doctor visits in the specialties of internal medicine and children, and according to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention “CDC”, family planning is one of the top ten public health achievements of the 20th century, as it is one of the main means of curbing population growth, which cannot be tolerated with its negative effects on the economy and the environment, as well as its impact on development efforts made at national and regional level.
Dr Aida Attia, director of the directorate’s Family Planning Department, explained that the campaign aims to provide these services free of charge to all target women, noting that the first phase provides the service through 242 stationary in-unit family planning clinics, doctors centers and hospitals supported by specialist services and 14 mobile medical clinics to ensure access to service in remote areas and slums in villages and villages across the governorate, with the participation of 110 qualified doctors, 319 nurses and 452 rural pioneers and educators of the population, and have been well trained in campaign work, with particular attention to the role of the media and the role of pioneer rural women in the implementation of educational and awareness-raising workshops, on the importance of family planning, the means available and the dangers of early and frequent marriage and childbirth, as well as intensifying the a necessary indicative propaganda for citizens, with the places and dates of the campaign throughout the governorate.
