Yesterday the launch of the Pfizer vaccine in Nickerie took place on the grounds of the Mungra Medical Center (MMC). Already early in the morning many children gathered with their parents to receive the vaccine.
Before the start, short speeches were given by, among others, the vaccination campaign leadership, the director of the MMC, a representative of the district commissioner and a DNA member.
Citizens from the age of 12 could be vaccinated at the MMC until 3 p.m. In an announcement, the Regional Health Service (RGD) announces that the Pfizer vaccine will also be administered at the RGD main outpatient clinic in the Van Pettenpolder from today, Wednesday 8 September.
