Libreville, Saturday November 9, 2024 (Infos Gabon) – The Minister of Interior and Security invites voters to collect their voting cards from this Saturday November 9, 2024.
The documents are available in town halls, prefectures, diplomatic missions and consular posts in Gabon abroad from 8 am to 5 pm, Hermann Immongault announced in a press release on Friday.
These voting cards will allow their holders to vote on November 16 in the referendum, when citizens will be asked to vote on the draft constitution submitted by the government for consideration.
At this time, the Gabonese will choose between yes, which is indicated by a green card as explained by the Minister of the Interior, and no, indicated by the red card.
Remember that this referendum, which is a crucial step for the renewal of institutions, is the first test of electoral transparency for the Ministry of the Interior which is now in charge of elections in the Gabonese Republic.
