In response to the sudden interruption of international tours due to Covid-19, the European Commission is supporting the establishment of a platform dedicated to the experimentation of new sustainable and inclusive models of transnational circulation of performing arts, including digital tools.
Entitled Perform Europe, the project is led by a consortium of five organizations (IETM, European Festivals Association, Highway, European Dancehouse Network and IDEA Consult) which intends, over the next 18 months and within the 41 countries participating in Creative Europe, to test and propose new support mechanisms for the international distribution of live performances.
The launch event will take place online Thursday January 28, 2021 at 2 p.m..
