Launch of the BlueWalker 3 satellite by NASA and SpaceX Success!

The launch of the BlueWalker 3 satellite is a SpaceX project. This BlueWalker 3 launch mission serves as a commercial satellite. With the Falcon 9 rocket, NASA and SpaceX have successfully launched a satellite from the Florida area.

SpaceX is a space company that has successfully launched a series of artificial satellites. The satellite aims to support communication needs with wider area coverage.

They have now launched their latest commercial satellite, namely BlueWalker 3 and also Starlink.

NASA and SpaceX launch the BlueWalker 3 satellite

NASA and the space company SpaceX have launched another space satellite. This time the two launched a satellite into orbit last Saturday and set a new record.

As usual, on this mission, NASA and SpaceX again used the Falcon 9 rocket as a means of transport to transport satellites.

The Falcon 9 rocket takes off into orbit at Pad 39A from NASA’s Kennedy Space Station or Kennedy Space Center in Florida.

In its launch, Falcon 9 was carrying 34 satellites simultaneously. The satellites are Starlink which is an Internet satellite and also BuleWalker 3, a satellite prototype made by AST SpaceMobile.

Become the largest commercial satellite

Interestingly, this BlueWalker 3 satellite is slightly different from Starlink. BlueWalker 3 is a commercial satellite prototype.

In fact, BlueWaker 3 is the largest commercial satellite array in space. In this way, the Falcon 9 rocket launched on Saturday (9/10) at 9:20 pm EDT will make a new story when it returns to Earth.

In this ambitious mission, the BlueWalker 3 satellite built by AST SpaceMobile is the center of attention. This satellite has a size of 693 feet or the equivalent of 69 square meters.

The purpose of the BlueWalker 3 Satellite launch mission is to test new technology projects to deliver real-time cell phone networks to users from space.

“The reason these satellites are so large is that to communicate at low power and low internal power of the mobile phone, you only need an antenna in an area with higher signal strength. It has become the most important part of our infrastructure, ”explains Scott Wisniewski, Space.com Chief Strategy Officer.

Setting up a new record

Jesse Anderson, SpaceX’s director of manufacturing engineering, said this was the 14th landing to break the booster record.

NASA and SpaceX have again set a record by launching a total of 34 space satellites. Additionally, it will also be SpaceX’s first five-engine combustion mission to deploy its payload into orbit.

The mission also carries the heaviest payload SpaceX has ever carried with the BlueWalker 3, weighing up to 1,500 kilograms. No wonder SpaceX CEO himself called this one of their most difficult missions.

Following the launch of the BlueWalker 3 satellite, the company plans to re-launch 5 operational satellites for BlueWalker 3 in 2023 with the aim of creating a constellation with at least 100 giant satellites. (R10 / HR-Online)
