Launch of Sheikha Latifa bint Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum Award for Childhood Creativity’s Sustainability Leadership Course

Dubai, October 24 / WAM / The Sheikha Latifa bint Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum Award for Childhood Creativity launched a training course through the Youth Council for Leadership and Innovation entitled “Sustainability Leadership Course” under the slogan “Leading Creativity Leadership”.

This coincides with the celebrations of the award – emanating from the Al Nahda Women’s Association in Dubai – its silver jubilee, which is held under the patronage of the wife of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, “may God protect him”, Her Highness Sheikha Hind bint Maktoum bin Juma Al. Maktoum, president of the award.

Amina Al-Dabbous Al-Suwaidi, Executive Director of the Award, said that in order to achieve the highest levels of creative quality and to coincide with the Award’s celebrations of the Silver Jubilee and the Year of Sustainability, the Award prepared a training course that extends from the month of this October until next November, where the opening of the course was launched at Dubai National School in Al-Twar and Al-Barsha in Dubai, the boys’ and girls’ sections, and another at Al-Ahlia School. Al Qadisiyah in the Emirate of Sharjah.
She added that the course aims to instill the values ​​of sustainability in the hearts of young men and women, invest time and self in positive and purposeful practices, and develop their capabilities, as the course includes many workshops in the field of creative sustainability.

She stated that the award is organizing this session to confirm the role and message of young men and women in establishing and strengthening the values ​​of cultural sustainability, especially as we are at the end of the “Year of Sustainability.” Therefore, the award family is keen to advance in youth the hope for the future and the fabric of sustainability throughout time.
Sustainability committees were established for the Youth Council for Leadership and Innovation in a number of schools, such as Hemaya School for Boys and Girls, Dubai National School Al Twar for Boys and Girls, Dubai National School Al Barsha for Boys and Girls, Fujairah Islamic Scientific Academy, Al Qadisiyah Private School in Sharjah, and Al Istiqlal Private School in Sharjah.
