The nursing professional added that there will be modules in the hospital: Children’s Specialties, General and Women’s, which immunized health personnel today. However, citizens who are in the buildings can have the antiviral, which is also provided in health units and on weekends in shopping centers.
“We are formally beginning the application of the influenza vaccine. Everyone is invited to come to the health units, we are also in shopping centers, Saturday and Sunday. We have modules in hospitals: General, Children’s and Women’s. Let’s take advantage of this opportunity to protect ourselves,” she emphasized and pointed out that the campaign is for the 2023-2024 season.
Villegas explained that although inoculations are provided to those who request them, it is important to remember that the vulnerable population must attend, people between 5 and 59 years of age with comorbidities: congenital heart and lung diseases, diabetes, morbid obesity, cancer, kidney failure , immunosuppression, HIV/AIDS, among others that weaken the body, as well as children from 6 months to 4 years 11 months, pregnant women and adults over 60 years of age and over.
He added that in the same way, work is being done to complete the schemes for all minors, so he urged parents to, while receiving the shielding, ensure that their children are up to date with their records.
