PALOPO – Public Elementary School 6 Bogar became a school for launching Human Papillomavirus (HPV) immunization, this was done to prevent cervical cancer.
This year’s immunization target is grade 5 elementary school girls, while for next year the target is grades 5 and 6.

This was done so that students who were immunized this year could be given another dose when they have advanced to grade 6.
The purpose of this activity is to provide socialization and understanding to guardians and parents of students regarding the administration of HPV immunization to prevent cervical cancer or cervical cancer.
The Head of the Palopo City Health Office, Dr. Nasaruddin Nawir conducted the first immunization for SDN 6 Bogar students.
Hikmawati Hidayah, one of the administrators of the Palopo City Health Office immunization program, hopes that after this activity, parents can understand the importance of HPV immunization in preventing cervical cancer.
Meanwhile, the Head of SDN 6 Bogar, Suciati Bakri, thanked the Palopo City Government (Pemkot) in this case the health service.
