Launch of 26 free reproductive health convoys in 17 governorates within 10 days

The Ministry of Health and Population announced the launch of 26 reproductive health and family planning convoys under the slogan “Your Right to Organize” to cover 78 villages in 17 governorates during the period from 14 to 24 November, within the framework of the implementation of the National Project for the Health of the Egyptian Family.

Dr. Hossam Abdel Ghaffar, official spokesman for the Ministry of Health and Population, explained that the launch of these “free” convoys comes in implementation of the directives of raising awareness of the community and improving the quality of life of the Egyptian family.

Abdel Ghaffar added that these convoys will be launched in Cairo, Giza, Qalyubia, Menoufia, Gharbia, Sharqia, Beheira, Dakahlia, Kafr El-Sheikh, Alexandria, Ismailia, Beni Suef, Minya, Assiut, Sohag, Luxor and Aswan governorates, with the participation of gynecologists and obstetricians, to sign medical examinations and provide safe and effective family planning methods, work to satisfy beneficiaries and increase the utilization rates of family planning methods.

Abdel Ghaffar added that the caravans work to raise health awareness of Egyptian families in general, and women in particular, through non-traditional media seminars, presented by media officials and rural pioneer women at the governorate level where the caravans.

For his part, Dr. Hossam Abbas, Head of the Population and Family Planning Sector, indicated that the first of these convoys will leave on November 14, 15 and 16 in the villages of “Al-Maraghi, Al-Zawaida and Marza” in the administration Montazah in Alexandria Governorate, while the convoy visits the villages of the health administration for 3 days in a row.

Abbas added that 8 convoys will be launched on November 15, 16 and 17 to roam the villages of “Al-Matania, Kafr Ammar and Al-Raqqa” under the administration of South Al-Ayyat, Giza Governorate,” Kafr Ibrash, Dahmasha and Al-Mounir” under the administration of Mashtoul Al-Souq, Sharkia Governorate, and “Manbal, Helwa and Abu Aziz” under the Mattay administration. , Al-Minya Governorate and “Al-Sharqiya Kaftan, Al-Gharbia Qaftan, and Ma’ajoun” in Samasta Administration, Beni Suef Governorate, “Segen, Abshway and Damat” in Qatour Administration in Gharbia Governorate , and “Al-Baalwa Al-Sughra, Al-Tal Al-Saghir and Al-Hatab” in Al-Tal Al-Kabir Administration, Ismailia Governorate and “Jazira”. Abbas added that two reproductive health convoys will be launched on November 19, 20 and 21 in the villages of “Baaws, Al-Barada’a and Ajhour Al-Sughra” in Al-Qanater Al-Khayriyah administration in the Governorate of Qalyubia, and “Arab Bani Zaid, Bani Zaid and Al-Fima” in Al-Fatah administration in Assiut Governorate, and 5 reproductive health convoys will also be launched in the villages of “Abu al-Rish Kebli, Khor Awada and Kima” Aswan Governorate, “Al-Adasat Kebli, al-Tawd and al-Marees” villages in al-Tud district, Luxor governorate, “Brahim village, dams and Zawiyat Razin” in Menouf district of Menoufia governorate , and “Daqouf, Jabal al-Tayr and Munqateen” in Samalout District, Minya Governorate and the “Al-Ittihad Company, Flowers of the Princes and Al-Khaliliya” in Al-Dalanjat Administration in Al-Buhaira Governorate, the November 20, 21 and 22, and another convoy will be launched on November 21, 22 and 23 in the villages of “Qa rash, Al-Maskar and Basar”, administration of Belqas, governorate of Dakahlia.

Abbas concluded that 8 reproductive health convoys will be launched on November 22, 23 and 24 in “Al-Shabraween, Hawd Najih and Al-Mahmoudiya” villages in Hiya administration, Al-Sharqiya governorate and “point of control of Bani Salman, Tzamant Al-Gharbia and Hawa” in Beni Suef governorate, and “Sheikh Badawi Charitable Association, Al-Nahda and the village of Algeria” department of Amiriya, Alexandria governorate, department “Al-Warq, Manshiyyat Abbas and Abu Ghanima” of Sidi Salem, Kafr El-Sheikh Governorate, Department of “Ghamaza Al-Sughra, Al-Jazeera Al-Shaqra and Nazlet Alian” of Al-Saf, Giza Governorate and Department of “Al-Bayt Al -Nabi, Sanafir and Balqis” of Qalyub, governorate of Qalyubia and “Al-Hawatkeh, Nazeh Qarar and Al-Atamna”, administration of Manfalut, governorate of Assiut, and “Saflaq, Al-Galawiyyah and Al-Awamiya”, administration of Saqilta, Sohag Governorate.
