Together we will play songs by Jānis Lūsēns with lyrics by Austras Skujiņas and Ojāras Vācieš, as well as various songs from the repertoire of the legendary band “Zodiaks”. New to this program will be songs by drummer and composer Andras Buiķas. In the instrumental section, however, you will hear the music of this year’s jubilee Gunnar Rosenberg, instrumental themes by maestro Raimonds Paul, plus some of my original music.”
On Sunday, November 20, a musician, saxophonist and multi-instrumentalist from the ECM record company will perform together with the Latvian Radio big band in the concert program “Music for voice and big band” in the Dzintari Small Hall. Songs of Klaus and the young Croatian jazz singer Anna Pilata.
