“I would like to hope that this game gives us more than just a big defeat, as well as victories in the future,” adds the coach.
“We didn’t follow the game plan. We even lost the match. We finally started playing, but it was too late,” says striker Markus Streikisch. “Attention! Let’s forget about this game and move on.”
It has already been reported that in the first match of the tournament the Latvian hockey players lost 1:3 to the Canadian team from the East, but in the second extra time they defeated their Swedish counterparts 3:2.
