“Latvian rock and roll” is a concert made as part of the “Summer evenings in Liepāja theater” cycle. The program of this concert includes the songs created by the groups “Pērkons”, “Jumprava”, “Sīpoli’, “Līvi” and other favorite musicians, performed by the actors of the Liepaja theater.

“Latvian rock and roll” – linked to the events that took place after Ogre’s concert, when during the band “Pērkons” young people felt freedom and on the way to Riga in the electric train behaved as they behaved after the revolution or during the revolution. It came organically, because after years of the pandemic and restrictions, I wanted to breathe – freely!” said its director Herberts Laukštein about the concert while creating it.
Actors Agnese Jēkabsone, Anete Berķe, Everita Pjata-Gertner, Agnja Dreimane, Kintija Stūre, Madara Kalna, Viktors Ellers, Kaspars Kārkliņš, Mārtiņš Kalita, Valts Skuja, Kārlis Artejevs, Hugo Puriņš, as well as musicians led by Normund Kalniņš, are participating in the concert.
