Latvian President Takes Cover in Kyiv during Massive Drone Attack from Russia

Latvian President Edgars Rinkevics, who is in Ukraine, was taking cover on Saturday night as Kyiv came under a massive drone attack from Russia.

As “European Pravda” writes, he announced this on Twitter (X), publishing a photograph from a hiding place.

“November 25, 05:10 am, Kyiv,” Rinkevichs captioned the photo.

On the night of Saturday, November 25, the Russian Federation issued a record number attack UAVs – about 75 Shaheds.

President of Latvia 24 November arrived in Ukraine on an unannounced visit.

According to him, he visited several facilities in the Chernihiv region, which were rebuilt with Latvian funds, and also met with the President of Ukraine Vladimir Zelensky and discussed with him bilateral relations and support from the EU and NATO.

At a joint press conference with Vladimir Zelensky Rinkevichs expressed confidencethat the European Union, despite the resistance of individual member states, will ultimately make all decisions positive for Ukraine.

Before this, Rinkevichs stated that the EU and NATO countries should increase its defense industry capacityto produce the necessary weapons for themselves and for Ukraine.
