The new robotics company “Giraffe360” created in Latvia has concluded an investment round of 4.5 million US dollars. The main investors in this round are the venture capital funds LAUNCHub Ventures and Hoxton Ventures, as well as the venture capital funds HCVC (Hardware Club) and Change Ventures, the company’s representatives said.
Giraffe360 has created a unique technology that real estate companies subscribe to. The product consists of a self-created 3D room scanning camera that allows you to generate precise layouts, high-quality photos and virtual tours at the touch of a button.
So do other digital content formats, such as the 3D dot cloud. The Giraffe360 solution makes it easy to create high-quality visual content for real estate ads.
The Giraffe360 service is currently used in 26 countries. The largest number of users is in the UK, where the Giraffe360 sales office is located.
“Customers’ interest in our technology has been boosted by the introduction of social exclusion rules in Europe. Remote presentation of properties has become an even greater necessity. In order to be able to serve the rapidly growing number of customers, we pay great attention to increasing the production and digital processing capacity of cameras. Last summer we opened a camera factory in Riga. In turn, we continue to strengthen the digital file processing team in Liepaja, ”commented Mikus Opelts, co-founder and CEO of Giraffe360.
Giraffe360 is a camera and software technology for room scanning. The company was founded in 2016 in Latvia; The authors of the idea are brothers Mikus and Madars Opelti. The company has offices in Liepaja, Riga and London, where more than 70 people work together.
During its operation, the company has attracted a total investment of 6.8 million US dollars.
