Latvian national team player Freimanis has found a new club

Latvian national team basketball player Rolands Freimanis officially joined the Polish club “Zielona Gora”, the unit informs.

“Zielona Gora”, looking for a replacement for Maksin De Zeuv, came up with a variant of the 32-year-old striker Freimanis.

The Latvian club this season is also represented by Latvian defender Jānis Bērziņš. Therefore, two Latvian basketball players will play in this team.

“Zielona Gora” is playing in the Polish Championship and VTB United League this season.

Last season, Gulbene played for another Polish club in Wloclawek, Anwil, where he scored an average of 11.6 points in 33 games and collected 4.4 rebounds. Freimanis played an average of 25.1 minutes, competing in 23 games.

Freimanis is also a long-term member of the Latvian national team.
