The Latvian National Opera and Ballet will start the new season with the premiere of the ballet “Swan Lake”, which will be attended by one of the currently leading ballet dancers in the world Vadims Muntagirovs. The premiere is also intended for the ballet “Dracula” and the work of young choreographers who will play the reality created by the pandemic. One of the central events of the opera’s premiere will be Giuseppe Verdi’s masterpiece “Simon Bokanegra”, composed by a creative team from Great Britain.
Egils Siliņš, Chairman of the Board of LNOB, and Aivars Leimanis, Artistic Director of the Latvian National Ballet, present the plans for the new season.
