Latvian Music Chart: Singapūras Satīns Dominates Singles Chart, Wiesuļa and sangvn’s “Fianchetto” Tops Album Chart

The Latvian music chart is stable: “Singapūras Satīns” dominates the singles chart, occupying the first three positions. On the other hand, Wiesuļa and sangvn’s “Fianchetto” is still the most listened to album chart, followed by Msencis and Grandmasters Neons with two albums.

“This has been a convincing summer for the group “Singapūras Satins” – a series of new singles, concerts throughout Latvia and the group’s authenticity have proven that their music is a constant value for Latvian listeners. We will wait with interest to see how this chart will be changed by the group’s new album, which is expected in less than a month,” says Sabīne Brice, marketing manager of Universal Music Latvia.

In the 37th week, “Sudden Lights” experienced a rise in both the singles and album charts with their cover version “Mūsu lībės”, occupying the fifth place, while the album “Miljards vasaru” reached the fourth position. $ourJ’s album “MIDWAVY” also climbed the album chart – eighth place, and “Olas” association’s album “The most important event in Latvian pop-hiphop” – ninth place. On the other hand, Wiesuļa and sangvn’s “Ko ta?” is on the singles chart. a rise to fourth, and Gacho “25” to ninth.

Doja Cat still tops the Combined Singles Chart with ‘Paint The Town Red’. Kenya Grace with “Strangers” has climbed to second place, while Gunna is in third place with “fukumean”. The novelty of the chart ranked fourth – it is the rapper Morgenstern with the new single “Чёрный Русский” (Black Russian). It should be noted that the rapper has expressed his position against Russia’s war in Ukraine and has been placed on the list of disloyal to Russia or “foreign agents” due to his activities. Among the Latvians, “Singapore satin” with the single “Degviela” ranked in the ninth position.
