Latvian hockey team wins Norway in test tournament / Day

In the Latvian national team, Deniss Smirnovs stood out with a goal and one pass, and was recognized as the best player of the match.

The team’s goal was guarded by Jānis Kalniņs, who blocked 14 opponents’ shots.

On Friday, Latvian hockey players will compete with the Danish national team.

The test tournament in Denmark takes place from 11 to 13 November. In addition to Latvia and Norway, the hostess Denmark also participates in it.

Vītoliņš is assisted in this tournament by Artis Ābols, Viktors Ignatjevs and Juris Klodāns. Ēriks Visockis takes care of physical fitness, but Pēteris Groms performs the duties of a video coach.

Vītoliņš has included three goalkeepers, eight defenders and 12 attackers. Forward Tom Tomerson, who was injured, as well as defender Nikita Matejko and goalkeeper David David Rolov, did not bring Denmark.
