Latvian handball players lose twice to Lithuania in test matches / Article

In the test matches against the Lithuanians, the Latvian national team was preparing for the World Cup qualifying tournament, which will be held in the Faroe Islands in mid-January against Italy, Luxembourg and the home team. At the same time, Lithuanians will take part in the final tournament of the European Championship, which will take place in Hungary and Slovakia.

Before the team goes to Vilnius, the head coach of the Latvian national team Sandris Veršakovs explained that the test matches will be a good opportunity to show themselves to the young handball players, while the coaches will be able to appreciate their usefulness.
