“Ogres Vilki/Lielvārde” defends the victory over “LU/FS Masters”
On Sunday, the “Ogres Vilki/Lielvārde” team achieved their tenth victory in the Latvian floorball championship in the men’s 1st league, beating the floorball players of “University of Latvia/FS Masters” at home (8:6). The hosts were in the lead in all matches, having achieved a comfortable four-goal advantage (7:3) at the beginning of the third period, however, the “students” did not give up and in the 56th minute managed to reduce it to a minimum (7:6). In the remaining time, “Ogres Vilki/Lielvārde” played more accurately, at the end of the fight, once again sending the ball into the opponent’s already empty goal.
