On the first day of the Riga Fashion Week, which will take place from October 12 to 16, the awards will be presented to the winners in ten categories.

This year, the award was supplemented by the category “Best Sustainable Fashion Brand” as designers pay more and more attention to environmental issues. Another new category – “Best Digital Presentation” – is driven by the digital trend.

The brands “Collected Story”, “For Lovers and Trees” and “Kasher Bloom” have been nominated in the “Debut of the Year” category. The brands “Volga Vintage”, “Nolo”, “One Wolf” and Iveta Vecmane have been nominated in the category “The most creative fashion show”.

Reinis Krūmiņš, Natalija Jansone and “One Wolf” will compete in the category “For the best digital presentation”. “Nolo”, “Volga Vintage” and Vecmane have been nominated in the category “The most original multimedia design of the fashion show of the year”. “Volga Vintage”, “Selina Keer”, Vecmane, “One Wolf” and “Katya Katya London” were nominated for the award “Best Advertising Campaign Image”.

“Verba”, Maija Vītola and “RO Studio” have been nominated for the “Best Contemporary Jewelry Designer of the Year” award. Among the nominees in the category “Best Sustainable Fashion Brand” are “Slow Hands”, Baiba Ladiga and “For Lovers and Trees”.

In addition, the jury will determine who will be awarded the titles “The Most Original Cover of a Fashion and Lifestyle Magazine”, “The Most Demanded Model of the Year” and “For Contributing to the Development of the Fashion Industry in Latvia”.
