Latvian composer Zigmars Liepiņš has published an ironic statement in his Facebook thread.
“It is my duty to warn that on 14.10 the performance of the out-of-date rock opera “Lāčplēsis” will take place in the arena, which was, is and will be with a strongly nationalistic (not Nazi!) and patriotic content for 35 years. Prrr… members must keep a safe distance to maintain purity, ” writes Z. Liepiņš on Facebook.
“Independent” journalist Elita Veideman already wrote that “Culture Minister Logina wants to redefine patriotism: it is too nationalistic”.
