A few days before Christmas, the band “Instrumenti” gives the listeners the album “Priecīgus” as a surprise.
The album “Priecīgus” includes ten versions of both well-known and classic Christmas compositions, as well as brand new songs created especially for this record – one of them – “Vēl kjejler” – “Instrumenti” was premiered as special guests in the finale of the “X Factor” show.
Jānis Šipkēvics says: “The idea of creating music for the Christmas season has always made our hearts beat faster. We have been talking about such an album for years, but on one gray day in the studio this fall we decided – it’s time! Because we want to have new sounds to accompany the holiday rituals – from soulful and spiritual to very simple and cozy – decorating the Christmas tree, wrapping presents, simply being with loved ones.”
From today, “Priecīgus” is available on the most popular streaming platforms. The author of the album cover design is the artist Reinis Pētersons. The author of the “Even Better” text video is Madara Dzintara.
