1. Latvian artificial intelligence changes singers’ voices
Latvian audio technology startup “Sonarworks” has developed the world’s first voice converter based on artificial intelligence technologies, which singers and other sound professionals can operate as a plug-in in workstation programs. “SoundID VoiceAI” gives producers and artists unprecedented opportunities to change the shape of the voice using one of the aforementioned voice and instrument profiles. “Latvian workers”.
“SoundID VoiceAI” uses a sung or spoken sound track and can change its pitch. This makes it possible, for example, to turn a female voice into a male baritone without losing the nuances that characterize each artist’s unique performance.
In daily work, “SoundID VoiceAI” opens opportunities for singers to change their voice not only for solo performance, but also to create duets and sing alone. This solution also empowers narrators for commercials and audiobooks – they can use different voices to express themselves in different characters and provide richer impressions to their audience and customers they have In addition to voice profiles, “SoundID VoiceAI” also offers to convert voice recordings into instrument sounds. Sound designers can enter the bell they want and the new software will transform it into, say, playing a trumpet, preserving the pitches.
2. “Apple” presents the latest “iPad” tablets, stylus and keyboard
The technology company “Apple” has presented new devices “iPad” – both new models “Air” and “Pro” after a long break. For the first time, the thin tablet “Air” is not the smallest in its dimensions, because the final tablets “Pro” or expensive have become thinner. Although it will be difficult to distinguish visually, a new generation of smart styluses, or “Apple Pencil Pro”, has been launched, which, unlike its predecessors, “feels” the weight of human fingers touched it.
The highlight of the show were the “Pro” tablet versions, which are available in two sizes – 11 and 13 inches and use a new dual-layer OLED screen. The next surprise is how thin they are – 5.3 and 5.1 millimeters, respectively, which makes them the thinnest Apple products ever. To further sell the new iPads, they come with the new M4 microphone, which has a 10-core CPU, or processor, and a 10-core GPU, or graphics processor. As for “Air” tablets, they are available in two sizes – 11 and 13 inches. They come with an M2 chip, which is an improvement on the previous one in 2022, which had an M1 microchip.
What makes the new style stand out? It senses when the user presses it and displays an on-screen menu to change the style settings. It can now vibrate to interact with its user in new ways. And last but not least, it will now be checked with the “Find My” app if the style is lost. And, finally, the connected keyboard “Magic Keyboard” has also been updated, which has a row of function keys and an extended touchpad, or track pad.
3. Artificial Ukrainian press representative
Last week, Ukraine demonstrated a new use of artificial intelligence, an AI press representative named Viktoria, who will deliver official statements on behalf of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine. The ministry will use a digital press officer to read its announcements, which will still be prepared by people, said “Cursor”.
The generated press representative, in a dark suit, introduced herself as a digital person Victoria Shi in a presentation posted on social media. When she speaks, she moves her head and her movements, which give the impression of a very alive person.
The name, appearance and voice of the media representative are not chosen at random. Her name is formed from the word “victory”, which translates as “victory”, and her last name comes from the first letters of the Ukrainian term for artificial intelligence: истучний интелект (ши). On the other hand, the appearance and voice of Victoria Ši is based on the appearance of a real Ukrainian person – singer and former participant in the version of the Ukrainian reality show “The Bachelor” Rozalija Nombre.

It stands out against its predecessors with its thinness and lightness, as well as a colorful AMOLED display that can be worn on the wrist either with leather, cloth or straps silicone. 5. “Sonos” comes up with noise canceling headphones
Technology portal “The Verge” reports on new headphones from Sonos that have yet to make their official debut. Dear fin over the ear or the so-called “Ace” headphones could compete with “Sony”, “Bose” and “Apple” headphones in terms of functionality, as they offer both good sound and noise canceling.
The battery for the mobile phones promises to last 30 hours, like, for example, the “Sony 1000XM5”. The headphones are able to follow the movements of the user’s head to offer a spatial sound experience for songs designed accordingly.
