The International Ice Hockey Federation (IIHF) has published the classification of subgroups for the 2024 Ice Hockey World Championship. The Latvian national team will play in the Ostrava group together with the national teams of Canada, Sweden, Germany, Slovakia, France, Kazakhstan and Poland.
On the other hand, the USA, Switzerland, Finland, Norway, Denmark, Czech Republic, Austria and Great Britain teams will play in Group B.
May 10 to May 26, 2024 in the Czech capital, Prague and Ostrava.
