The 11 countries with the highest rates of infection were Cyprus, Portugal, Spain, Luxembourg, Greece and Denmark. , The Netherlands, Belgium, Liechtenstein and Norway.
Covid-19 infection rates in neighboring Estonia have fallen to 29.27 cases per 100,000 population, while in Lithuania Covid-19 infection rates have fallen to 17.32 cases per 100,000 population, according to ECDC data.
The mortality rate of Covid-19 in Latvia has also decreased by 14 days per million population to 16.77 cases per million population. However, this figure is the third highest among the Member States of the European Union and the European Economic Area, with the fastest decline in Covid-19 deaths.
