Latvia Places 11th in Eurovision 2021 Semi-Finals, Just Misses Out on Final Spot

Summarizing the results, Latvia received 34 points in the first semi-final and ranked 11th out of 15 countries, which means that we were the first to reach the final.

Only three points separated Latvia from 10th-placed Serbia.

We would like to remind you that this year only the audience’s vote was taken into account in the semi-finals.

It has already been reported that the Latvian group “Sudden Lights” did not qualify for the Eurovision final with the song “Aijā”. This was the sixth time in a row that Latvia fails to overcome the semi-final barrier.

This year’s Eurovision Song Contest was won by Loreen from Sweden with the song “Tattoo”.
