Procurement of weapons by Latvia and Estonia
Latvia and Estonia have jointly selected IRIS-T medium-range air defense systems. This will be the largest military purchase since the restoration of Latvia’s independence. Supply systems may begin in 2025.
Recall that Lavtia, following Estonia, submitted a request to the US government for the purchase of HIMARS mobile multiple launch rocket systems in the summer of 2022.
