Of the more than 325 million inhabitants of the United States, almost 59 million are of Latino origin, the 18% of the population.

In Miami (Florida), for example, there is a large population of Cuban origin.

Texas, as another large border state with Mexico, has almost 40% Latino population.

Changes in the north
As we move away from the US-Mexico border, the Latino populations living in the country are more diverse.
