Latinos arrested for murder of Hispanic man in Raleigh

Raleigh.- Two Latinos were arrested for the murder of a Hispanic man on August 5 in Raleigh. Arizona state agents and Raleigh police collaborated in the arrest of the suspects.

The crime occurred at 700 Navaho Drive at approximately 8:11 p.m. Upon arrival, officers found an adult male with gunshot wounds, and these Latinos were involved.

The victim, identified as Angel Cirilo De Leon Andrade, 32 years old, was taken to hospital with serious injuries, where she died the following day.

Arrests

Following the crime, intense investigations were carried out that crossed the border into North Carolina. The police office in Raleigh reported on Saturday, August 10, that two Latinos were arrested.

Mario Fernando Sevilla Cubias, 39, was arrested in Coconino County by Arizona Department of Public Safety officers on Interstate 40 at mile marker 218.

Cubías is awaiting extradition to North Carolina for the murder of Ángel Cirilo De León Andrade, another of the Latinos involved in this case.

Wanda Geomey Moreta de Hernan, 54, was also arrested in this case, being apprehended in Raleigh.
